The Louisiana Acadiana Chapter of Safari Club International is dedicated to protecting the freedom to hunt and supporting wildlife conservation from our backyard to around the world.
We stay connected through newsletters, member meetings with great programs, conservation and hunter education efforts, public events, and our amazing annual fundraising banquet.
Our members are made up of hunters like you and others who understand the importance of conservation, education and protecting the right to hunt; keeping our chapter strong.

At SCI Acadiana, we believe hunting is about more than the outdoors—it’s about passing down traditions, supporting conservation, and building a strong community.
From educating youth and supporting local organizations to hosting events that bring members and families together, our chapter is proud to keep the spirit of hunting alive for generations to come.
Outdoor Education
We’re especially committed to teaching youth about hunting’s value, and supporting SCI and SCI Foundation programs.
We love sharing the outdoors with the next generation. The Acadiana Chapter supports multiple local youth organizations, such as 4-H and other shooting sport programs in our community, giving kids the chance to explore nature, learn firearm safety, hunting skills, and discover the importance of conservation.
Special Events
The Acadiana Chapter keeps the calendar full with fun and meaningful gatherings. From our annual banquet and Sporting Clays Shoot to the Quail Hunt, Membership Crawfish Boil, and Christmas Party, there’s always something bringing members together.
Whether it’s raising support for conservation or just enjoying good food and camaraderie, our events celebrate the spirit of hunting and community.
National Membership
To join SCI Acadiana, you must first be a member of Safari Club International.
Safari Club International is the leader in protecting the rights and freedom to hunt here in the United States and promote sustainable use of wildlife conservation around the world. We fight for hunter’s rights and against unconstitutional gun laws. These primary missions are supported through the many arenas of the organization.
